V12 E Type Jaguar Rebuild

     Standard Service includes the following:

• Check battery connections
• Check battery level
• Check brake fluid
• Check clutch operation*
• Check condition of auxiliary drive belts
• Check coolant level
• Check cooling system for leaks
• Check engine for leaks
• Check exhaust system
• Check front brake pads
• Check instrument panel and warning lights
• Check power steering circuit and levels
• Check shock absorbers
• Check steering and drive shafts

• Check transmission for leaks
• Check tyre condition and pressures (inc spare)
• Examine vehicle bodywork
• Renew engine oil
• Replace oil filter
• Replace sump plug washer
• Report tyre tread depths
• Test all exterior lights
• Test horn
• Test washer and wiper operation
• Top up front and rear windscreen washer
• Torque tighten wheel bolts
• Complete and stamp service book
• Carry out short road test

Standard Service  PLUS the following:

• Check air conditioning condenser and drainage holes
• Check anti-freeze content and report
• Check front suspension gaitors, ball joints & bushes
• Check manual transmission level*
• Perform battery voltage test
• Replace air filter
• Replace diesel fuel filter*
• Replace spark plugs*
• Test alarm and immobiliser if fitted
• Top up battery if required
• Top up brake fluid if required
• Top up power steering fluid if required

General Servicing

• Carry out exhaust test emissions
  Check gearbox and final drive oil level
• Check air conditioning operation*
• Check and if necessary adjust auxiliary belt tension
• Check front wheel alignment
• Check hand brake operation and adjust if required
• Check rear brake pad/shoe wear
• Check seat belt operation, mounting and condition
• Clean carbon deposits, fuel sediment and sludge from fuel lines, injectors/carburettor and combustion chamber with use of fuel additive giving reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency
• De-dust and adjust rear brake shoes*
• Replace brake fluid
• Replace particle filter (upon customer request additional charge)
• Replace petrol fuel filter*
• Add windscreen washer additive
• Carry out road test
