Just a few images documenting the progress of the Bedford.
1960 Bedford CA
The restoration carried out on this lovely old Bedford has been extensive.
On arrival at our workshop and a full inspection, the body was removed from its chassis as was the engine.
The chassis is completely overhauled and repainted.
The engine is also given the treatment by Paul White, our chief mechanic.
Elsewhere removal of the paint and other coatings was taking place. It soon became clear how extensivly the structure was degraded.
Significant rot was found in nearly all panels and in the chassis.
Parts and panels were fabricated or repaired where possible, significant sections were completely missing.
The gallery records the progress of the Bedford through the various stages of the restoration process.
